Properties:
- self-priming, i.e. in many cases no additional blower required
- high separation efficiency over the entire operating range
- good absorption behaviour, even with considerable flow rate fluctuations
- Module consisting of jet scrubber and column
- integrated pump
- optional: heat exchanger can be installed
- optional: measuring and control equipment (e.g. pH, redox, temperature, density and/or level control)
- compact design
- many expansion options
- self-supporting on base frame
- easily tranportable
- inexpensive
- various materials possible, e.g. thermoplastics, GFK (also with liner), stainless steel, steel with liner (rubber coating), special materials (alloy, enamel), etc.

- Pre-saturation (possibly quench head needed)
- physical absorption
- Chemisorption
- Dust separation
- Condensation
- Combination of cooling, absorption and dust separation
- Pilot plants in laboratories or technical schools
- Emergency units (e.g. HCl or chlorine emergency unit)
